The 38-foot tower was built in 1833. Located at the head of the Chesapeake Bay It serves traffic to and from the Susquehanna River. The last woman keeper in the nation retired from this lighthouse in 1947.

Its electric-powered beam aids local boaters around Concord Point where the Susquehanna River flows into the Chesapeake Bay. Open to visitors Sundays 1-5, June through October.
